Dr. Angela Bryan's Social/Health Psychology lab is looking to hire a full time Research Scientist I to work on a project conducted among criminally involved adolescents as well as projects conducted among college-age young adults. The project is a NIAAA funded study involving alcohol use and sexual risk among criminally- involved adolescents. Participants are young people (14-18) recruited from the Youth Reporting Center at the Bernalillo County Juvenile Detention Center. The findings of this project are expected to facilitate the design of effective health interventions (education and strategies) for young people, especially among specific populations that are at extremely high risk for HIV/STDs. B.A/B.S. in psychology is preferred. Prior research and lab work is a plus. Bilingual in Spanish also a plus.
