The UNM Cancer Center Director's Research Laboratories is looking for an individual who is interested in a challenging opportunity to gain experience in the latest leukemia research technologies. The applicant selected for this position will work under general supervision and perform all procedures according to the protocols. This person must have a Master's degree and laboratory experience in DNA/RNA isolation; molecular biology methods such as PCR; microarray technology; and MS Excel and PowerPoint. Duties include undertaking and collaborations in the planning, development, and implementation of laboratory research; design and execute research protocols and procedures; day-to-day technical leadership and functional supervision to lower level professionals; develop comprehensive data analyses and summary interpretations; participation in the development and delivery of reports, presentations, and manuscripts; miscellaneous duties as assigned.
